For those who may not know, this synth was released after Roland's megasynth the Jupiter 8. The Jupiter 6 added an early MIDI implementation and also multiple filters. I won't go into all the differences here. If you're looking for a vintage analog synthesizer with huge programming potential this one may be for you. This item is fully functional as far as I could tell and it loaded all the original presets fine and they have held fine in memory. There is a small burn mark on one key and a small chip in another. The patch shift jack on the back also seems to be missing. The synth looks very good considering its age. It is missing some case screws and a few on the end cheeks. There are also some very small rust spots here and there where the paint is showing its age. It really is in the condition you would expect of a well kept vintage synthesizer.
